My Tip for Younger looking skin

My Tip for Younger looking skin

Who doesn’t want beautiful glowing skin? I know that I’m always on the hunt for something that will lighten my dark spots- courtesy of my younger self not giving a f*ck- Brighten up my over all complexion oh an make me look 10 years younger. I basically want to have 18 year old skin FOREVER. Which side note I may just be on to something because my husband and I almost didn’t get let into see Bad Moms Christmas over the weekend bc we didn’t have our IDs and it’s rated “R”. I literally had to show him my wedding band and say “um we’re married, I think we’re old enough”😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Now I’m going to prefix this with the fact that I’m not a Dermotologist nor am I a skincare expert, but I am a VIB Rouge member and most of that is because of my skincare addiction so I would say I’m some what of a skincare connoisseur. TBH I know what skincare products work and what doesn’t for me. When I see something that’s working for me I love to share it with everyone.

With that being said here is my number one skincare tip, Vitamin C Serum and a Jade Roller! So cheap and so easy. On a typical morning I’ll cleanse my face, put on a toner and then press in my Mario Badescu rose hip oil mixed with their vitamin c serum. Then I’ll grab my chilled jade roller from the freezer and roll the larger side all over my face. I start from the inside and work my way out and up – never rolling down. I also use this on my neck and décolleté area. Then I use the smaller side to do my eyes and smaller areas of my face. After that I’ll just apply my moisturizer and go on with my makeup routine.

Why vitamin c Serum? Here’s the thing I’m a HUGE skincare junkie you tell me it works I try it. Honestly half the crap I buy doesn’t work, but this actually does and it’s not break the bank expensive. There are tons and tons and tons of serums out there. I chose vitamin c because it helps reduce dark spots from sun damage, brightens your skin and evens out skin tone & texture. So who wouldn’t want to add that to they’re skincare routine? Now rose hip oil is a newbie for me, but it’s really been doing wonders for my dry skin that’s why I’m loving this rose hip oil mixed with vitamin c from MB.

Now you’re probably wondering wtf a jade roller is really doing for me. Well it’s simple. By using the roller you’re pushing the vitamin c serum deeper into your pores. This way your activating the cells underneath the surface. By using the jade roller chilled you’re also depuffing your face from any morning puffiness especially puffiness surrounding the eye area.

As a little added bonus if you’re into crystals. Jade carries a sweet light and nourishing energy and it’s supposed to purify your energy field, so who doesn’t want that all over them in the morning?

Happy rolling~
