New York Fashion Week Fall 2017

New York Fashion Week Fall 2017

Fashion week came and went and I’m still thinking about it every day. I was lucky enough to be invited to a few shows and events during NYFW and it really motivated me to do more this year so next fashion week I could go to even more events and bring you all even more content!

This year my partner in fashion was my gorgeous cousin caitlin the voice behind the striped blonde on Instagram. Together we hit up a media lounge the Nolcha fashion shows and an Influenster gathering hosted by Bfrow.

As soon as I received my invites my first thought was “what am I going to wear?!”, I mean it’s NYFW you need to bring it right?! I immediately did my homework on the shows I was invited to and the events so here is are the look I wore during NYFW. I will set up links to everything I’m wearing below each photo.

First up is the Media Lounge event at the Bryant Park Hotel:

At this event I knew I would be meeting new companies and networking so I wanted to wear something casual, but still fashion forward.

Leith Mélange Body-Con Dress , Halogen® Jacy Stretch Sock Bootie, AQUA Embroidered Faux Leather Moto Jacket – 100% Exclusive, Thomas Knoell Designs Serena Earrings

I wore this casual midi dress with an embroidered leather jacket (which is so in right now). I paired this look with my favorite black booties and Thomas Knoll was kind enough to send me over some beautiful jewels to finish off my looks.
My next event was the Nolcha Fashion Shows:

These shows were one right after another so I couldn’t change up my look which is fine, but I needed something that would be acceptable for all the shows.

Kimchi Blue Floral Embroidered Sheer Long Sleeve TeeOut From Under Meara Seamless Ribbed Bra, My pants are SO, but these are similar tailored cigarette pants blackAQUA Embroidered Faux Leather Moto Jacket – 100% Exclusive,

I decided on this sheer top number and it was a huge hit in my book. I went with the embroidery trend again and loved that the sheer top had pops of red (another huge trend this fall) I paired it with high waisted pants and my Valentino flats which are so sparkly that it looked like I was walking on air in my photos. I felt very NYC ballerina esk. I also wore a few Thomas Knoll Designs with this look and it really gave me a glam vibe.

For my last look at the Influenster gathering with BFROW I went casual, but still rocking the red trend! I knew I would be around other girls in the industry and networking, so I needed to be on my fashion game.

Similar top: Top with Ruffled Sleeves, Jeans: Straight Regular Jeans, Bag: Aldo Women’s Euroline Satchel,  Shoes: Aldo Wiliwiel

I’m slightly obsessed with this look because it was all about the details. From the red stitching on my jeans to the pearls on my heels.

I hope you guys enjoy these looks and let me know in the comments your favorite one!
